Third Coast Capital Advisors served as exclusive buyside advisor to Xylem Kendall, a portfolio company of Sterling Investment Partners, in its acquisition of Tree Care of New York. Our Acquisition Search services included identifying the target and making contact with its owner, as well as providing assistance on valuation, transaction structure and the negotiation and closing of the transaction.

Tree Care of New York, based in Alden, NY, is a family-owned tree service company with over 25 years of experience. They provide a range of tree care services including tree removal, pruning, stump grinding, line clearance, and integrated vegetation management. Their typical customers include residential property owners, utility companies, and municipalities.

Xylem Tree Experts, headquartered in Wakefield, VA, and Kendall Vegetation Services, headquartered in Lawrenceville, GA, are both leading providers of critical vegetation management services. The two companies have operated under the Sterling umbrella since September of 2022, and together create one of the largest vegetation management providers across the United States serving major investor-owned utilities, electric cooperatives, and municipalities.
