Third Coast Capital Advisors served as exclusive buyside advisor to CROM, a portfolio company of Frontenac, in its acquisition of Dobbs Coating Systems. Our Acquisition Search services included identifying the target and making contact with its owner, as well as providing assistance on valuation, transaction structure and the negotiation and closing of the transaction. This represents the third acquisition that we have sourced for CROM.

Dobbs Coating Systems, headquartered in Weatherford, TX and founded in 1994, is an industrial and commercial coatings contractor providing abrasive blasting, technical coatings, chemical-resistant linings, secondary containment systems, epoxy flooring, and lead paint abatement services. Licensed in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma, the company serves municipal water and wastewater facilities, industrial plants, power generation facilities, and commercial infrastructure.

CROM, headquartered in Gainesville, FL, is a national water infrastructure solutions provider specializing in the design, construction, restoration, and maintenance of water and wastewater facilities, including prestressed concrete tanks, protective coatings, shotcrete, and structural restoration. A portfolio company of Frontenac since February 2025, CROM has built a national platform through multiple strategic acquisitions and serves municipal and industrial clients across the United States.
